On flat savannah lands enjoy watching antelope from the largest eland to the tiny duiker. Cheetah, lion and leopard are always close by – so watch out as they may streak across the plains. The Welvegonden Private Game Reserve is home to other more rare animals such as brown hyena, aardwolf and aardvark – all best seen at night. Famously, the reserve boasts one of the largest populations of white rhino on a private reserve anywhere in Africa
