Known as the capital of the Garden Route, this small town is situated on a coastal plateau at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains. George is a perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route's many attractions and its many scenic drives. For golfers it is a paradise with George Golf Course and the 3 Fancourt Golf Courses - one of them a Links Course - all in very close proximity.
