From Durban, drive through the green hills of the Midlands towards the little country town of Underberg. Here, 4x4 vehicles awaits you...the only form of transport equipped to tackle the Sani Pass! Please note that we pass through two border posts i.e. The South African Border Control and Lesotho Border Control. You’ll have your passport stamped as you enter the Kingdom of Lesotho. Stop at a nearby Sotho Village for you to enjoy a taste of the local culture. Lunch is served at the highest pub in Africa – truly – and, it stands to reason, the views are utterly breathtaking. Once you’ve recovered your breath, wind your way down the Pass very slowly, and make your way back to Durban. This is a spectacular tour, filled with with altitude!
