9 Day Beach & Bush Family Holiday in KwaZulu Natal

Guests are met upon arrival at Durban International Airport by a representative of African Sands who presents them with their self drive tour itinerary, all the vouchers they need for the trip, a map book of South Africa.

The African Sands representative will spend time with guests going over the route and offering suggestions and advice. All members of the African Sands Team have years of experience in conducting tours in South and Southern Africa so they should be able to answer any questions clients might have regarding their self drive holiday.

Guests will then be assisted with collecting their rental car after which clients embark on their self drive holiday of South Africa. From Durban Airport a short drive brings guests to the beautiful coastal town of Ballito.

After a few days relaxing on the beach, guests make their way to the Falaza Game Park & Spa, located on the border of the Hluhluwe – Imfolozi National Park. The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park – a World Heritage Site – is located to the east. Guest can enjoy a host of activities like game drives, bush walks, horse riding and birding safaris. Breakfast at the lodge before departing for Mkuze Falls Lodge located along the northern bank of the Mkuze River in the heart of KwaZulu Natal.
