Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg / Kruger National Park

This adventure allows you to experience an authentic African safari experience from start to finish.

Your professional driver guide will pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel  and then you will head east to spectacular Mpumalanga - “Place Where the Sun Rises”-  via Nelspruit and White River.

 

Enter the world famous Kruger National Park and spend the afternoon looking for the Big Five. This park has more recorded species of wildlife than any other African game reserve.

 

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon with the smells of traditional South African cuisine filling the air.

Day 2: Kruger National Park

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel

 

Depart with your guide for the Kruger National Park for a full day of game viewing activity in your tour vehicle.

 

Your guide will endeavour to spoil you with sightings of the Big Five, general game and prolific bird life.

 

Stop at one of the rest camps for lunch (not included).

 

Spend the rest of the afternoon in the park. There is nothing very distinctive about the topography of the park except in the northern reaches,where nine of Africa’s major ecosystems meet and merge. Vegetation is mainly bushveld, varying from park-like grasslands to dense bush, especially in the rainy season. You will have many opportunities to capture your experience on camera.

 

Optional : Upgrade your full day safari to an Open Safari Vehicle

Day 3: Kruger National Park/ Johannesburg

Breakfast at the hotel 

 

Spend your last morning at leisure.

 

Optional: Morning game drive in an Open Safari Vehicle available 

 

Start your journey to Johannesburg via Graskop, where you will stop for lunch (not included)

 

Continue over Kowyn Pass to the small town of Pilgrim’s Rest. Pass through Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Belfast.

 

Arrive in Johannesburg in the early evening at approximately 18h30.

 

NB: We recommend that you do not book any connecting flights on the return day as travel times and stops may vary depending on the interests of fellow guests. We recommend that you stay the night in Johannesburg.
