Iwamanzi has 3500 ha with a stunning thatched lodge, built in the Selons river gorge. Hidden in the Northwest province only 1,5 hour’s drive from JHB & Pretoria. Iwamanzi is ideal for a break away from the busy city life or just to enjoy nature and all its elements.
The Lodge
Iwamanzi have 5 chalets each with its own private deck overlooking the rumbling waters of the Selons River. The chalets are spaciously built, with their own private bathroom, walk in shower, bubble bath, mini-bar, coffee station, amenities, hair dryer & safe.
There are also the Bushrooms that are a few steps away from the Lodge, each with ensuite bathroom with shower, hot beverage station and all the services rendered by the Lodge (Swimming pool ect).
The Bushrooms also encluides the following: 3 Star rated accommodation, welcome drinks, sundown snacks, three meals per day, two game drives/walks, fly fishing and vat.(excluding drinks)
Iwamanzi also have a Self-Catering Camp that is called Spitskop. The camp can accommodate up to 12 guests, this is ideal for a family getaway or get-together. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, linen, towels and serviced daily.
Facilities
Iwamanzi Lodge has a plunge pool, and you can fish in front of the lodge in the river. Fire place next to the river for relaxation & a thatch condo for private dinners, weddings, conferences & team buildings.

For guests that prefer a little bit more pampering Iwamanzi offer beauty treatments & holistic therapies in the Beauty Bush Room. The Beauty Bush Room is at the river condo.
Activities
Game drives: The game density in the area is very high due to 3 different habitat; Highveld, bushveld & riverine. Iwamanzi is home to rhino, hippo, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, nyala, bushbuck, eland, kudu, blue wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, blesbuck, ostrich, hartebeest, black wildebeest, gemsbuck, duiker, brown hyena an many more mammals besides over 200 different bird species.
Fishing & Fly fishing: The Selons River originates and runs through the farm, feeding several big dams. There are lots of underground springs we damned off, creating 12 big dams in total on the farm. Iwamanzi have introduced rainbow, brown & golden trout and you can also find carp, kurper, catfish, tilapia & largemouth bass. Due to all the water Iwamanzi have a lot of different water birds, including the fish eagle, several heron species, dab chicks etc.
