Böhm's Zeederberg is a small owner- run Country House situated in the picturesque Sabie River Valley of the Mpumalanga Drakensberg, South Africa, close to the Kruger National Park in a Malaria Free Area.

Böhm's Zeederberg is a small owner- run Country House situated in the picturesque Sabie River Valley of the Mpumalanga Drakensberg, South Africa, close to the Kruger National Park in a Malaria Free Area. Situated 26.6 km from Sabie towards Hazyview on the R536, Böhm's lies on the border of the largest National Park in the world. The Country House is surrounded by all the major tourist attractions - 30 minutes drive to the Kruger National Park, 30 minutes drive to the Panorama Route with all the waterfalls, and 1 hour's drive to the majestic Blyde River Canyon.
Airports are at Nelspruit (107 km) and Skukuza (55 km), with direct flights from all major centres daily.
The lodge
The Country House is situated on a hilltop 900 meters above sea level, with majestic views over the Sabie River Valley and the Sabie River below. The farm borders the Pine- and Eucalyptus forests of Sabie, and to the other side lies the Hazyview agricultural heartland producing export quality citrus, bananas, avocadoes, mangoes and other subtropical fruits.
The Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi lies within the 2 hectare lush subtropical garden, and swimming is pleasant from September to May. The garden is filled with beautiful indigenous trees, which have been labeled for easy identification. For those seeking serenity, the garden offers many private corners to simply sit and watch the beauty of nature or to read a good book from our library.
Rooms
Böhm's Zeederberg has got 10 rooms, 8 in the garden and 2 in the Main Building. The rooms are individually decorated and each has a private verandah with views over the majestic Sabie River Valley. Two rooms share one chalet and the chalets are well spaced to give each other optimal privacy and peace. All are equipped with a mini bar fridge, telephone, coffee making facilities, hairdryer, heater, airconditioner or overhead fan. Four rooms have king sized beds, 2 rooms queen sized and 6 rooms are twin bedded. A third bed for an extra person sharing can fit into 4 of these rooms.
All have a bathroom en suite with bath and/or shower, toilet and basin.

Dining Room
The Restaurant serves homecooked Dinners prepared by Mrs Böhm, with the accent on French African Country cooking combined with fresh herbs from the garden. The Dining Room serves Dinners daily from 19h00 - 20h30. Enjoy a sundowner on our Cocktail Terrace in the summer, or a sherry in front of our roaring log fire in the lounge during the winter.
Breakfast
The English and Continental Breakfast Buffet has a huge variety of hot and cold, sweet and savoury, meat and vegetarian dishes tastefully presented. Breakfast is served in the Dining Room or on the Terrace daily from 8h00 - 09h30. For those wishing to depart early a picnic basket can be packed.

Get picked up at reception and enjoy a thrilling open vehicle drive through the Kruger Park with an experienced ranger, who will find you the Big 5 and also show you the Small 6!
Greet the Mpumalanga Sunrise in a Hot Air Balloon with a glass of bubbly, 1000 feet above the beautiful Sabie Valley, or see the antelopes from close by on horseback. Have an experienced guide drive you to the picturesque views of the Panorama Route with its abundant waterfalls, Blyde River Canyon and Pilgrim's Rest.
Rent a car or get transferred to any destination desired.

Weddings
The Gazebo in the garden is the perfect garden chapel, and the main building can accommodate wedding reception parties up to 130 persons. A honeymoon cottage is available for the wedding couple, and the theme and catering can be changed to suit the wedding couple’s requirements. This must be the most beautiful setting to get married in!
Conferences
A reception hall with majestic views over the valley is available for meetings and teambuildings, but regrettably Bohm’s Zeederberg is not equipped for conferences.
