Cape Town is home to the fantastic state-of-the-art international convention centre, located in the heart of the city, close to the renowned V&A Waterfront. The Cape Town International Convention Centre can cater for up to 10 000 delegates theatre-style in its 11 399 m² of dedicated, column-free exhibition and trade show space. Two raked fixed seating auditorium for 1500 and 620 people, complete with stages and screens, 6 translation booths and a projection rooms,as well as a wide variety of 33 breakout rooms of which 20 can be configured to different sizes. Within walking distance are the city's major hotels, providing over 3 000 quality rooms. They are flexible and imaginative. This venue can accommodate anything and everything! 

 

Johannesburg hosts the Sandton Convention Centre, conveniently located in the Sandton CBD. It offers easy access to over 5 000 hotel rooms, is adjacent to the country’s top shopping and entertainment complexes, and provides 10 600 secure parking bays. Spread over 12 storeys with more than 22 000 m² of convention, exhibition and special event space, it offers a range of room capacities - from a 10-seat function room to The Pavilion, which can cater for 4 500 seated patrons.  The grand ballroom can cater for 1 500 banquet guests while 13 other meeting spaces can accommodate up to 350 delegates. Amazingly, meals can be served for 2 000 guests in as little as 12 minutes. Two exhibition levels with a combined floor space of 11 000 m² can accommodate 500 3x3m stands.

 

Durban is home to the first big conference centre in South Africa. The ICC Durban has consistently been voted Africa's Leading Conference Centre in the World Travel Awards and has been ranked among the top 20 convention centres in the world by the International Association of Conference Centres. This high-tech convention centre with 32 000m² of space, is flexible, versatile and functional. It has a raked auditorium that can seat 1 800 conference goers, or chairs can be placed flat on the floor to accommodate 6 000 delegates. Its large indoor arena has seating capacity for 6000 delegates or 9 000 people standing. When combining the convention centre and arena together, 18 000m² of convention space is available that can be subdivided into more than 40 configurations. If you can imagine it, they can create it!  For even larger meetings, exhibitions or events the ICC Durban (eThekwini) can be combined with the adjacent 11 436m² ICC Durban Exhibition Centre, giving event organisers access to 33 000m² of floor space, which can be used for events or exhibitions of all configurations and sizes. The ICC Durban Exhibition Centre has 2 large halls, breakaway rooms and outdoor areas. As a stand-alone venue it can accommodate 3 000 delegates cinema-style.
 
East London is home to the newest of South Africa's International Convention Centres - The East London International Convention Centre (ELICC)! It is located within the Marine Park Complex on East London's Esplanade with great views of the Indian Ocean and is just 15 minutes from East London Airport. State-of-the art technology has been used in the convention centre’s meeting rooms that include a 600-seater auditorium, an exhibition floor with space for 90 stands, a hall that seats 850 delegates ballroom-style and 2 200 cinema-style, as well as executive boardrooms, restaurants and kitchens. The space is new and totally versatile combined with excellent state of the art technology and facilities.
