Calling all Sushi & Cocktail fans in Cape Town!

Sevruga in Cape Town, located at the iconic Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is a MUST Experience!

It opened in June 2009 after a much anticipated wait. It is the sister restaurant to the world renowned Beluga Restaurant – and boy is it a true dining sensation. Not only do you have some of the world most spectacular views to relax and enjoy, especially sitting outside on their amazing terrace, but the polished marble entrance, solid wooden flooring, unique American Walnut walls and absolutely fantastically comfortable chairs all combine to create a real feast for the senses.

Not even the bathrooms have been spared with their designer attention to detail and fabulous crystal chandeliers!

Sitting surrounded by almost 3000 bottles of brilliant vintage South African wines is also a great way to whet the appetite.  The chefs have spent much time preparing a great menu that is unique and diverse with something for everyone. It is filled with amazing signature dishes as well as a complete a la carte sushi menu. Truly mouth watering!

But, the best part is that if you go on a Saturday afternoon between 2 – 5pm the restaurant has the most incredible half price deal on all sushi and cocktails. It truly is a wonderful offer and allows you to experience some of the most imaginative sushi that has been given a complete modern overhaul at 50% off! Don’t even get me started on their extensive cocktail list! If you are a dedicated authentic sushi fan, you will not be disappointed, but if like me you want sushi to be modern and fun then you are in for a real treat! Why not try unique sushi morsels such as Tuna Crunch, Sushi hot dog and the Wasabi Stack Wash it down with a refreshingly minty Mojito or a signature Blood Orange Martini - what better way could you spend an afternoon?

Oh, I forgot to mention their fantastic dessert Martinis – you can’t end the afternoon without experiencing one! Try the Toblerone Martini - Baileys Irish Cream, hazelnut syrup, chocolate syrup and crème fraiche. YUM!  Y

es, it really was an afternoon spent almost in heaven!
